Jake's First Playdate

Jake and next door neighbor Carson had their first playdate (or sleepdate) today! I guess we wore them out by sitting and talking for two hours...

Bathtime!

Jake finally took a bath and didn't pee on me! He's really enjoying bathtime now-he loves the water. Nudie shots sensored for your viewing pleasure.

Fun at Grandma's and Grandpa's

We had fun going to visit Grandma and Grandpa on Tuesday. We went to McDonalds for lunch and then to the mall to walk around. Jake loves his stroller! Then he got his hoodie on and went for a stroll around the backyard. He was getting grumpy when we went to Old Country Buffet though. He's starting to get the front of his hairline to grow in again. He still has the baby acne and cradle cap pretty bad, but hopefully that will get better on its own. And he's sleeping about 6 hours at a time at night! Go Jake!

Fun weekend!

We had a pretty good weekend-our first weekend on our own!

On Saturday we packed a picnic lunch and headed to North Park to sit out on the grass and eat. Jake really enjoyed himself! He wore a sunhat that was two sizes too big, but it did the job! He just sat on his Boppy and kicked and punched and had a good time. He can't wait to go again and eat big people food!










































































































Sunday we went to the free open house at the Consol Energy Center to watch the Penguins practice. It was a good time! We found a few seats that had a countertop area and flat screen TVs to watch the game. We took Jakob out of his carrier and he sat and looked at the ceiling of course. That was a fancy ceiling there! Then we got some nachos and Kris went to take some photos down close. Jake decided he was too hungry so we had to cut the day a little short and get out to get him some food. But not before we stopped at the gift shop and got Jake his own little stuffed 'Iceburgh' penguin. He seemed to like it! He was holding it the whole way out to the car in his stroller. He must have had a good time!

Pint Size!

Jakob finally got into his first 3-6 clothes yesterday! A little early, though. He is a big boy! He is smiling more everyday. He especially smiles when he gets his diaper changed. Likes being naked-little weirdo!

Today we had a big trip to Giant Eagle! Jake was good as always in his carrier and got plenty of compliments from strangers. Then we came home and sat in his new chair/seat while I got our food ready for our picnic tomorrow. Hopefully the weather holds out!
